Elagabalus, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, struck 218, (3.51 g), obv. laureate and draped bust right, around IMP CAES M AVREL ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around, SALVS ANTONINI AVG, Salus standing right, holding and feeding serpent, (S.7543, RSC 258, RIC 140) (illustrated); another, issued A.D. 219-220, (2.73 g), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTO NINVS AVG, rev. around LAETIT IA PVBL, Laetitia standing to left holding wreath and rudder, (S.2101, RIC 95, RSC 70). Toning, good very fine - extremely fine. (2)
