Genius of the Senate standing left, holding sceptre and branch, around P M TR P XVII COS IIII P P, (S.6833, RIC 246, RSC 247) (illustrated); Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Emesa mint, issued A.D. 194, (3.54 g), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG COS II, rev. around SAECVL FELICIT, crescent and seven stars, (S.6361, RIC 417, RSC 628a).
