Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius issued 214, Rome mint, (3.08 g), obv. laureate bearded head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Genius of the Senate standing left, holding sceptre and branch, around P M TR P XVII COS IIII P P, (S.6833, RIC 246, RSC 247). Nearly extremely fine with a sharp defined portrait.
