Antoninus Pius, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (24.60 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 157-8, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around [ANTO]NINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XXI, rev. TEMPLVM DI[V AVG REST], and COS II[II] in exergue, S C across field, octastyle temple, in which are seated statues of Divus Augustus and Livia, (S.4235, RIC 990ADD, CF.C.805). Deeply toned, struck on an uneven flan, good fine and rare.
