Bactria, Kingdom of, Eukratides I, (171-135 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.77 g), obv. diademed and draped bust of Eukratides to right all within dotted border, rev. the Dioscouroi on horseback to right holding spears and palms, monogram of AW to right, below in exergue **EUKRATIDOU, above **BASILEWS, (S.7568, SNG ANS 433, Bopearachchi Series 1E). Bright with light patination, extremely fine in high relief and a rare variant.
