Macedon, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.19 g), Pella Mint, issued c. 354/3-349/8 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II?), on horseback to left, star below, around **FILIP POU*, spearhead in exergue, (cf.S.6683, Le Rider 94 [D57/R73], SNG ANS 355 [same dies]). Attractively toned, tooling on obverse and reverse, good very fine.
