Italy, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (c.350 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (7.41 g), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with figure of Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, **QOURIWN, tunny fish below in exergue, with exergual line, (cf.S.442, SNG ANS 1008 [same obv. die]). Nearly very fine and a scarce type.
