NERO, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, issued c.65-66, Rome mint, (3.20 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. Jupiter seated left on throne, holding thunderbolt and sceptre, [IVPPITER] CVSTOS around, (cf.S.1943, RIC 45, RSC 119). Toned, very fine/very good, scarce.
