Arab-Byzantine, Umayyad Caliphate, (c.685-692), AE fals, 18mm, (3.99, 3.75, 3.30, 3.38, 3.63 g), Hims (Emesa) mint. obv. crowned facing imperial bust, holding globus cruciger, K/A**L*/O/N (= "good") to left, bi-hims to right rev. large m, star between annulets above, E/M/I-C/H/C across each side, in exergue 'tayyib' (= "good"), (last illustrated), (SICA 1, 544 var. [star after bi-hims], Album 3524, Wilkes 133 [$125 US]). Mostly very fine several with earthen patina. (5)
