Caria, Alabanda, silver tetradrachm, issued 167-166 B.C., (16.85 g). obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, rev. above **ALABANDEWN*, Pegasos springing to right, A below, (S.4762, Waggoner 'Kraay-Morkholm Essays' Series 4, p.289, [l.LXVI, 11 same obverse die], Boehringer, Chron. p.189, 9; SNG Helsinki 5, SNG Copenhagen -, SNG von Aulock 8050). Slightly off centred strike, otherwise nearly extremely fine, with a light iridescent tone and rare.
