Ionian Islands, Chios, (478-431 B.C.), silver drachm, (7.81 g), obv. Sphinx seated to left, [amphora before off flan], rev. quadripartite incuse square punch, (S.4593, Baldwin 57, BMC 2-4, SNG Cop.1546). Toned, off centred obverse, very fine and scarce.
