Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (6.83 g), obv. head of nymph to right, club behind, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below **Q*, in exergue **[NEOPOLITWN], (cf.S.307, Sambon 480, cf.SNG ANS 375-378). Toned, off centred on the reverse, otherwise good fine and a scarce symbol). Hoard patination, porosity and edge cut, otherwise fine.
