World War II, Internment Camp Hay, The Camp Seven Bank, one shilling, Hay, 1st March 1941, Robinow/Stahl, D22793 (not in Bulluss). Light rust tone mark, otherwise good extremely fine and original.
This note from descendants of Placido (Peter) Sura, an Italian interned for six months. He was released after a legal intervention. He was a baker in Bronte Road for over forty years.
