India, Kushan Empire, Vasu Deva III (c.A.D.360-365), gold stater, (7.79g), obv. King standing, head to left, sceptre in left hand, sacrificing with right hand on altar, trident above altar, rev. goddess Ardoksho seated on throne, holding cornucopiae, to left degenerate legend APDOXPO (Gobl 593, M.3549). Very fine and scarce.
