Robert Clyde Campbell, farmer, age 25, born at Sydney, NSW; Enl.09Oct1915 at Kiama, NSW; Emb.22Aug1916; AWL 01Nov1916 in England; to France via Folkestone 28Feb1917 and TOS 13Bn 06Mar1917; WIA GSW left arm at Reincourt (Bullecourt) 11Apr1917; rejoined unit 25May1917; to England from Le Havre 18Jun1917 suffering Oedema, swelling of left leg; RTA 31Oct1917; Disch.30Jan1918 Medically Unfit.
Robert Campbell was one of the Coo-ee Marchers however he did not complete the march because he was admitted to Lithgow Hospital with typhoid fever when the Coo-ees were passing through Lithgow and he was still there when the march ended. After leaving hospital he went to Liverpool Camp as a reinforcement for 13 Bn.
