Sidney John Trenouth, shearing machine expert, age 23, born at Muckadilla near Roma, Qld; Enl.01Feb1915 at Liverpool, NSW; Emb.12May1915; to Gallipoli 16Aug1915; WIA 28Aug1915 shrapnel wound to shoulder, at Gallipoli; WIA 23Nov1915, stray bullet to leg at Anzac while resting, Gallipoli (his brother Godfrey was wounded on the same day); contracted thorax tetanus and dangerously ill 10-26Dec1915, by 28Dec now progressing satisfactorily; Invalided to Australia 28Jan1916; Disch.06Nov1916.
