Japan, cWWII, Imperial Japanese Army officer's field cap, khaki wool body and short peak, replaced hand cut yellow cloth star to the front, original thin brown leather chinstrap, officer's brown leatherette sweatband and silk lining with maker's or owner's stitched initials; Imperial Japanese Navy, reproduction field cap made entirely from leather and painted white. Overall mothing to the body of the first cap, fine. (2)
