Ancient British, North Thames Region, Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, Inscribed coins, Cunobelinus Plastic type, (c.10-41 A.D.), gold stater, (5.41 g), obv. ear of corn with central stalk, CA to left, MV to right, rev. horse prancing to right, pellet and branch above, pellet under tail, ringed pellet and CVNO below, beaded border, (S.286, ABC 2786, Van A 2010, NT 8, BMC 1809-12, M 203, CCI 95.0675 [this coin]). Attractive rose gold, bold horse and full CVNO, good very fine or better and scarce.
