Ancient British, North Thames Region, Tasciovanos, Inscribed coins, Tasciovanos Griffin type, (c.25 B.C.-10 A.D.), silver unit, (1.24 g), obv. Griffin to right, surrounded by two rings with pellets between, rev. Pegasus to left, front leg raised, T below, AS in front, (S.231, ABC 2649, Van A 1790 var, NT 7, BMC 1660 var, M 159). Toned, slightly uneven flan, otherwise full inscription with an attractive Pegasus and Griffin, good very fine and extremely rare.
