Ancient British, North Thames Region, Tasciovanos, Inscribed coins, Tasciovanos Verlamion type, (c.25 B.C.-10 A.D.), gold quarter stater, (1.34 g), obv. crossed wreaths,
one curved, one straight, back-to-back crescents at centre, VERL in angles, rev. horse to left, bucranium above, T in front, AS below, C below tail, (S.224, ABC 2598, Van A 1690 var, NT 7, BMC 1642-44, M 152 var). Nice rose gold, neat flan, attractive horse, full bucranium and legend, good very fine - nearly extremely fine and rare.
