Ancient British, North Thames Region, Tasciovanos, Inscribed coins, Tasciovanos Tasc type, (c.25 B.C.-12 A.D.), gold quarter stater, (1.28 g), obv. crossed wreath motif with two opposed crescents at centre and ringed pellet at each end, TASC in angles, rev. full bodied horse to right, bucranium above, T under tail, AS below, C in front, (S.223, ABC 2595, Van A 1692, NT 7, BMC 1641, M 153). Rose gold, sharp wreath, well centred horse, nearly extremely fine and rare.
