Ancient British, North Thames Region, Tasciovanos, Inscribed coins, Tasciovanos Tasc type, (c.25 B.C.-12 A.D.), gold quarter stater, (1.32 g), obv. crossed wreaths one curved, back-to-back crescents at centre, TASC in angles, rev. horse to right, bucranium above, [T]AS[C] below, (S.223, ABC 2595, Van A 1692, NT 7, BMC 1641, M 153, CCI 07.0785 [this coin]). Nice rose gold, slightly off centre on reverse, otherwise clear letters, nearly extremely fine and rare.
