Ancient British, North Thames Region, Tasciovanos, Inscribed coins, Tasciovanos Camul type, (c.25 B.C.-10 A.D.), gold quarter stater, (1.27 g), obv. crossed wreath motif with two opposed crescents, teardrop motifs in angles, rev. horse to left, CAMVL monogram above, 'acorn' in front, TASC[I] below, rings and pellets around, (S.222, ABC 2589, Van A 1694, NT 7, BMC 1640, M 187). Beautiful rose gold, sharp teardrops, bold horse, virtually full description, good very fine or better and extremely rare.
