Ancient British, North Thames Region, Tasciovanos, Inscribed coins, Tasciovanos Warrior type, (c.20 B.C.-10 A.D.), gold stater, (5.39 g), obv. crossed-wreath motif, thick crescents back-to-back at centre separated by three pellets, stylised faces in angles, rev. warrior riding to right, holding carnyx, four-spoked wheel and TA behind, S below, C in front, exergual line with ringed-pellet below, (S.217, ABC 2565, Van A 1732-1, NT 7, BMC 1610-13, M 154). Attractive rose gold, good horse, clear lettering, good very fine and rare.
