Ancient British, North Thames Region, Addedomaros, Inscribed coins, Addedomaros Spiral type, (c.45-20 B.C.), gold stater, (5.48 g), obv. star-form solar spiral of six curved and corded arms, pellets in angles, three crescents in centre, rev. well-formed horse to right, with corded mane and dewlap, ADD[EDOMAROS] and three horse muzzles above,, ringed-pellet under tail, cornucopia below, (S.201, ABC 2517, Van A 1620, NT 6-7, BMC 2396-404, M 267, CCI 07.0161 [this coin]). Attractive rose gold, clear spiral, bold horse, first part of king's name visible, good very fine.
