Ancient British, North Thames Region, Catuvellauni, Uninscribed coins, Early Whaddon Chase type, (c.55-45 B.C.), gold stater, (5.73 g), obv. wreath motif with various ornaments in angles, rev. horse to right, wing motif above, ringed pellet below, plain exergual lines with dashes between, (S.32, ABC 2433, Van A 1476, NT 4-5, BMC 295-330, M 135). Nicely toned, high gold, ornate obverse and an attractive horse, nearly extremely fine - extremely fine.
