Ancient British, North Eastern Region, Inscribed coins, Corieltavi, Vepocomes Triadic type, (c.15-40 A.D.), gold stater, (5.09 g), obv. wreath crossed by bar with crescent at each end, ring of pellets in each crescent, rev. lunate horse to left, VEP above, pellet under head, CORF below, (S.410, ABC 1854, Van A 960, NE 7-8, BMC 3302-03, M 59). Neat flan of rose gold, full legend with large letters, good very fine or better and rare.
