Ancient British, North Eastern Region, Uninscribed coins, Corieltavi, Right type with sun, (c.60-50 B.C.), gold stater, (5.82 g), obv. wreath motif with leaves facing inwards, small pellets in field, rev. lunate horse to right, charioteer's arms and pellets above, pelletal sun below, exergual line with crescents below, (S.28, ABC 1719, Van A 800-5, NE 5-6, BMC 184-91, M 51). Toned gold, well centred horse and lovely sun, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
