Ancient British, East Anglia Region, Uninscribed coins, Iceni, Irstead Smiler type, (c.30-10 B.C.), gold quarter stater, (1.07 g), obv. latticed square on two opposed crescents, projecting branch above, rev. long-legged horse to right, pellet daisy behind, crescent and two ringed pellets above, forming hidden face, ringed pellet below, (S.430, ABC 1480, Van A 628, EA 6-7, BMC 3437-39, M 404, CCI 02.0971 [this coin]). Nice horse, attractive overall design, good very fine and scarce.
