Ancient British, East Anglia Region, Uninscribed coins, Iceni, Freckenham Crescents Moon Faces type, (c.20 B.C.-20 A.D.), gold stater, (5.32 g), obv. solid back-to-back crescents, four radiating lines of pellets, tiny row of crescents alongside one, ringed pellet in each quarter, rev. horse to right, large round head, pellet rosette above, below and in front, ladder-like exergual decoration, (S.426, ABC 1441, Van A 620-1, EA 7-8, BMC 3384 var, M 399 var). Attractive rose gold, bold moons and pellets, full horse, good very fine and extremely rare.

This stater is extremely rare with only ten others recorded, but only three clearly show the tiny row of crescents on the obverse.
