Ancient British, East Anglia Region, Uninscribed coins, Iceni, Snettisham Fewer Pellets type, (c.50-40 B.C.), gold stater, (5.39 g), obv. plain with traces of crossed wreaths, rev. horse to right with double stranded tail, beaded mane, ringed pellet in front and above, pellets around, ringed pellet in ring of pellets below, (S.425, ABC 1408, Van A -, EA 6-7, BMC 3363-4). Good flan of bright yellow gold, well centred horse, beautifully ornamented, nearly extremely fine and extremely rare.
