Ancient British, South of Thames, Regini and Atrebates, Uninscribed coins, Commios A type, (c.50-25 B.C.), gold quarter stater, (1.18 g), obv. letter A on plain field, rev. globular horse to left, ladder mane, beaded ring above, two rings below, (S.67, ABC 1031, Van A 353-5, BMC -, M 83). Nice flan of rose gold, sharp A, bold horse, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
