Ancient British, Southern Region, Belgae, Uninscribed coins, Chute type, (c.65-58 B.C.), gold stater, (6.03 g), obv. wreath motif with downward-facing leaves, rev. triple-tailed disjointed horse to left, 'shrimp' and large pellets above, oval shape behind, crab below, (S.22, ABC 746, SO 4-5, Van A 1205, BMC 35-76, M 32). Attractive yellow gold, well struck with nice horse and wreath, all elements on the flan, crisp extremely fine and rare in this condition.
