Ancient British, Regini and Atrebates, (c.55-45 B.C.), gold stater, (5.78 g), Selsey Uniface type, obv. plain, rev. triple-tailed horse to right, charioteer's arms above, oval shape behind, seven spoked wheel and crescent below, zigzag exergual line, (S.39, ABC 488, Van A 216, BMC 461-75). Large flan of impressive gold, smooth surfaces, sharply struck with full wheel showing, extremely fine and one of the finest known.
