Ancient British, Kent, Dubnovellaunos, (c.25-10 B.C.), gold stater, (5.40 g), Dubnovellaunos Serpent type, obv. plain, rev. horse leaping to right with linear mane, pellet triad in front, [DVBNO]V[ELL]AVNOS around, two pellets and bucranium above with ringed pellet either side, serpent and ringed-pellet below, (S.177, ABC 303, Van A 169, BMC 2492-96, M 282). Beautiful horse with rich ornamentation around, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
