Ancient Britain, Gallic War imports, (c.57-56 B.C.), Ambiani, uniface gold stater (6.20 g), obv. plain, rev. M-shaped Celtic horse right, crescent and pellets above and below, wavy exergual decoration, (S.11, Sills class 2a, ABC 16 var, GB 5, Van A 50-56, LT 8710). Nearly extremely fine, neat flan, smooth surfaces, sharp horse, an attractive example.
