Constantine I, (A.D. 307-337), AE follis, issued 325-6, Trier mint, (3.32 g), obv. laureate head to right of Constantine, around CONSTAN TINVS AVG, rev. camp gate two turrets, star above, six stone layers, around PROVIDEN TIAE AVGG, STR below, (cf.S.16238, RIC 449); Constantine II, (A.D.337-340), AE follis, issued as Caesar, London mint, struck 322-323, (3.01 g), obv. radiate bust draped and cuirassed to left, around CONSTANTINVS IVN N C, rev. globe on altar inscribed VO/TIS/XX, PLON in exergue, (cf.S.3942, RIC 287). Toned, nearly extremely fine - extremely fine and very scarce.
