Probus, (A.D. 276-282), billon antoninianus, Rome mint (3.75 g), obv. radiate cuirassed bust of Probus to right, around IMP PROBV AVG, rev. around ADVEN TVS AVG, emperor on horseback to left, raising right hand, captive seated in front of horse, in exergue R star **D*, (S.11953, RIC 157). Attractively toned, extremely fine with a superb portrait, scarce.
