Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), AE sestertius, (23.62 g), Rome mint, issued 71 A.D., obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAES VESPAS AVG P M TR P PP COS IIII, rev. Salus seated left holding patera and sceptre, in exergue S C, around SAL[VS AVGVSTA], (cf.S.2334, RIC 752, C 436). Toned, some surface marks, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
