Straits Settlements, Municipality of Singapore, 1905-1918, a quantity of receipts for payment of legal fees (11), some named to Donaldson & Burkinshaw, mostly with names of payers and on some the name of the case, all with affixed Straits Settlements duty stamp featuring Edward VII or George V, another document written in Chinese and this also with Edward VII duty stamp affixed, also various Municipal Fund receipts (17), for payment of rates, 1907-1918, some with four languages printed on reverse, all with duty stamps. Some torn, otherwise good - very fine. (approx 30)

Donaldson & Burkinshaw, established on 6 November 1874, is one of the oldest law firms in Singapore. Its operations continue to this day with offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam (2 different cities).
