France, Burdiglia, 13th Exposition of Bordeaux, Society Philomathic, 1895, prize medal in bronze (62mm), by A.Rivet and struck by Paris Mint, obverse, bust of Marianne left and wearing a three-masted ship on her head, at right arms of Bordeaux, reverse, seated naked woman holding a book with quill pen in right hand, behind the exposition building and below a plaque for recipient's name; Exposition Universelle Internationale, Paris 1900, commemorative remembrance medal in bronze (60mm), by V.C.Chaplain, obverse, allegorical figures above Paris, in a plaque below, De La Martiniere (French educational institution in Lucknow), reverse, Marianne wearing Phrygian cap, at side a tree and in the distance Paris; Ministry of War Shooting Competition prize medal, undated, in bronze (50mm), by Henri Dubois, obverse, Marianne bust right, reverse, shooting competition scene with naked Victory holding a wreath, below a plaque for recipient's name; Allier Agricultural Society prize medal, undated, in bronze (50mm), by H. De Longueil, obverse, bust of Olivier De Serres left, reverse, wreath of farm animals, produce and agricultural tools, unnamed; Philatelie (philatelic) prize medal, undated (design used for many years from 1920s-1980s), in bronze (60x39mm), by R.Cochet, uniface, obverse, stamp format featuring a female with magnifying glass seated at a desk and studying stamps in an album, at top left corner is a postmark dated 25.IX/19-, unnamed. First polished, very fine; second heavily cleaned, appears to be a casting, otherwise fine; last three extremely fine. (5)
