China, Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang Interregnum, (c.A.D. 7-22), a bronze mould 80x82mm (mother), for making a clay coin mould) for six cash coins with four characters on one side, value one cash visible on obverse of three moulds, cash diameter 15mms, issued 7-23 A.D., three moulds with plain reverse, (Coin type Hartill 9.14, Sch.139, TFP 459). Dirt encrusted and with green oxidation, otherwise fine and rare.
