Wynyard to City, via Circular Quay one way train tickets, consecutive numbers A0001 and A0002, 22JA56, the first two tickets for the first day of operation of the new regular train service using the newly opened Circular Quay train station. Edge clipped by ticket collector at destination, some fading of colour, otherwise fine and rare.

Circular Quay train station was officially opened on 20 January 1956 by NSW Premier J.J.Cahill. The first regular train service began on 22 January 1956 using the new prototype single deck, power operated door train, F39. It was reported in the Sydney Morning Herald 23 January 1956 that the first ticket for the new service was issued to Peter Lambert at 5am on 22 January 1956.
