Marsh, H.J. & Brother, Hobart Town halfpenny, undated (A.346); Sydney Ferries Ltd, 4B token for Neutral Bay, reverse impressed number 145, on a ring with Imperial German ten pfennig, 1876; A.G.Hake, Saddler, Sussex St, advertising check, holed at top and gold painted, reverse with printed details, 'Presented/To/W Leaver/Champion/1911/High Jump'; League of Health, Movement Is Life badge, in silvered bronze with black enamel, by Amor, Sydney, obverse with ship in centre, reverse inscribed, 'Edna/Strickland/Life/Member/No.876'. The last with some enamel missing but scarce, good - very fine. (5)
The Women's League of Health, founded in England in 1930 expanded operations to Sydney in the late 1930s. The only other ship version of the badge known has red enamel and was issued to an Australian. Perhaps black was issued to life members. The English version of the badge had a female figure exercising and red enamel with the name of the organisation in full.
