Harold Ringstad, motor driver, age 29, born at Granville, Sydney, NSW; Enl.30Jul1916 at Royal Australian Showground, Sydney, NSW; Emb.30Sep1916 with 117 Howitzer Bde; served on ops in France and Flanders with 8th Field Artillery Bde; WIA 11Nov1917 in France, remained on duty; his unit was in the vicinity when the Red Baron was shot down and one of his unit members gave an eyewitness account; RTA 20May1920; Disch.13Sep1920; Died 31May1964.
