William Henry Newton, labourer, age 23, born near Mt Morgan, Queensland; Enl.15Feb1915 at Charleville, Queensland; Emb.20Aug1915 for Middle East with 7th Reinforcements for 5LHR; to 2nd Bde MG Sqn 06Oct1916; RTA 09Feb1916 to recuperate from illness (Enterica); 22Jul1916 returned to overseas and continued service but with bouts of sickness; RTA 29Apr1919 with Malaria; Disch.29Apr1919 Medically Unfit.
