Sicily, Selinus, (540/530-510 B.C.), silver didrachm, (8.76 g), obv. selinon leaf, with pellets to left and right below, rev. incuse square divided into ten triangular sections, (S.730, ANS MN 33, Pl. 2, No.23 [same reverse die] [Selinus hoard], cf.SNG ANS 676-7). Attractive grey tone struck on a broad flan, very fine or better and a rare variety.

EX Noble Numismatics Auction Sale 86 (lot 3271). Similar coins come from the Selinus Archaic Silver hoard.
