Lachlan and Waterloo Mills Company, Sydney, New South Wales, sixteen different printer's sample banknotes in a bound leatherette booklet (210x145mm) with gold lettering 'Bank Notes' probably by S.Clayton, Sydney, c1830s, denominations: two shillings and sixpence, five shillings, ten shillings, one Spanish-dollar, two Spanish-dollars, four Spanish-dollars, ten dollars, twenty Spanish-dollars, one pound sterling (4), five pounds sterling (2), ten pounds sterling (2). Nearly uncirculated as produced, excessively rare and probably a unique set of early Australian paper money. (one booklet of 16 notes)
