South Africa, ZAR, Paul Kruger, pond, 1894, mounted as a brooch on 15ct gold bracket with pin back, also fitted is a 9ct gold fob clip (total combined wt 12.6g).Very fine.

This and the following lot were given as gifts by 1088 Trooper Ernest Arthur Prior, 1st Australian Horse, to his mother, Selena Anne Prior (nee Heard), on his return from the Boer War. See also lot 740.
