Artuqids of Mardin, Qutb al-Din II-Ghazi II, (A.H. 572-580) (A.D. 1176-1184), copper dirham, pictorial type, no mint, dated A.H. 577 = A.D.1181-2, (14.90 gm), obv. Byzantine style busts, resembling the coins of Heraclius and his son (Sun and Mercury), rev. five lined legend, (A.1828, M.1033, S/S Type 32.1, Edham 43, BMC 386). Very fine/good very fine, scarce.
